Reed's Retics specializes in the captive reproduction of the Reticulated Python.
Arguably one of the most beautiful snakes there is, the reticulated python enjoyed its break through in popularity among keepers during the late 1990s. Retics are intelligent, observant and can be incredibly friendly docile animals. There are smaller variations of the reticulated python as well. Originated from a small island chain off the coast of Indonesia. Dwarf reticulated pythons are becoming more popular as they still have their beautiful colors and pattern, but are a more manageable size! Island specific species differ in size, pattern, colors and temperament. They are being crossed into different Retic morphs to make smaller designer retic morphs that can be enjoyed by keeper that don't like the size that mainland retics can get to!
